It was pointed out that scientific research has been done and that research has discovered that many poets suffer from mental illnesses. They also discovered that poetry attracts those with a mental illness and although poetry may help those with a mental illness it may also cause one to obtain a mental illness. Also the research pointed out that woman are caused a great amount of physiological stress from poetry. Overall the idea was that Tendencies of mental illness are greater in artistic fields of work.
